Removing and installing cover for manually operated convertible roof > < Removing

–  Check sealing cord -1- on convertible roof retaining frame, renew if necessary.
–  Place convertible roof in convertible roof box (second mechanic required).
  M61-0014
–  Install bolts -2- and -4- for main mounting (50 Nm).
  M61-0013
–  Position convertible roof fabric retaining frame central and tighten nut -4- (10 Nm).
–  Tighten bolts/screws -3- (10 Nm) working from the centre outwards.
  Note
Ensure that the convertible roof fabric retaining frame is positioned at the same “height”.
–  Further installation is carried out in the reverse order.
