Left and right adjustment (Y axis adjustment) > < Adjusting front door window (cabriolet)
Front to rear adjustment (X axis adjustment)

Prerequisite:
l  Distance -a- different than 65 mm.
–  Remove front door trim → General body repairs, interior; Rep. Gr.70
   
–  Raise door window to top position until the clamps are accessible in the assembly openings -1-.
–  Loosen clamps -2- and -3- and nut -4-.
–  Press side window into front window guide -arrow-.
–  Adjust distance -a- to 65 mm.
  Note
Apply locking compound to bolts/screws -2- and -3- before tightening (only for not microencapsulated bolts).
–  Tighten clamp -3-, torque setting: 8 Nm.
–  Lower door window completely and raise door window to top position again until the clamp -2- is accessible.
  Note
Lowering door window completely and raising it again completely is ineffective when attempting to obtain parallelism between the door window regulator guides.
–  Tighten clamp -2-, torque setting: 8 Nm.
–  Tighten nut -4-, torque setting: 8 Nm.
–  Verify that distance -a- equals 65 mm. If necessary adjust again.
–  Install front door trim.
  WARNING
Force limitation intervention will be activated if adjustment in X axis is incorrect.
