| The following must be observed when installing the rain sensor after replacement of a windscreen or rain sensor: |

| Windscreens supplied as a replacement part are supplied with the retaining ring. Once the windscreen has been installed the glass within the retaining ring must be cleaned thoroughly with cleaning solution -D 009 401 04-. |

| A rain sensor cannot be reused. A replacement part is supplied with adhesive for installing the rain sensor on the windscreen. This adhesive can only be used for a once-only assembly. |

| The base of the rain sensor must be bonded to the windscreen completely and free of air bubbles to guarantee the function of the rain sensor. |

| Remove protective cover for adhesive on new sensor. |
