Installing > < Removing and installing interior mirror

Standard interior mirror
   
–  Pull rear edge of trim -1- (with clock) downwards off trim and unhook trim along forward edge.
–  Disconnect connector -2- for interior light (and clock).
Automatic anti-dazzle interior mirror or interior mirror with telematics control unit (USA)

–  Pull trim (with clock) -1- back against the spring force -arrow A- and unhook trim at front edge -arrow B-.
–  Pull rear edge of trim -1- downwards.
–  Disconnect connections.
Cabriolet interior mirror
  M68-0031
–  Pull rear edge of trim -1- (with clock) downwards -arrow A- off roof trim and unhook trim along forward edge -arrow B-.
–  Disconnect connector -2- for interior light (and clock).
Continued for all vehicles

–  Press interior mirror -1- downward at an angle -arrow- off retaining plate (spring clip in mirror base).
