Installing
Note following prior to installation:
  Note
t  The replacement sensor mat must not be damaged when installing.
t  The warning and instruction labels on connectors must not be damaged or removed.
t  No connectors on the replacement kit may be removed/loosened when installing.
t  Ensure the heater element is seated correctly and securely in the padding when reinstalling.
t  Ensure the Velcro fasteners on both sides of the seat padding are closed correctly and securely when installing the seat cover.
t  Under no circumstances may the band on the replacement part which connects the sensor mat to the seat padding be damaged.
t  After completion of installation of PODS system, use -VAS 5051/5052- to check that the „basic settings for passenger protection“ have been completed for the seat to ensure that the airbag ECU, the seat sensor ECU and the „seat sensor for rear seat passenger protection“ are adapted to one another and that the seat parameters for an empty seat of the seat sensor ECU have been configured.
–  Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal
–  After installing all components switch ignition on.
–  Close doors.
–  Reconnect battery earth strap.
