  Caution
Before commencing separating, straightening and panel beating work the belt tensioning units must be removed.
   
1 - Belt height adjustment
q   To remove height adjustment mechanism, first remove upper trim on B-pillar.
2 - Socket head bolt
q   23 Nm
3 - Belt guide
4 - Cover for belt guide
5 - Hexagon bolt
q   40 Nm
6 - Front seat belt buckle
7 - Anchorage rail
8 - Socket head bolt
q   23 Nm
9 - Hexagon bolt
q   40 Nm
10 - Washer
11 - Hexagon bolt
q   40 Nm
q   Loosening hexagon head bolt -11- makes the belt tensioner safe, and tightening it returns the belt tensioner to a functional condition (does not apply for electric belt tensioner).
12 - Seat belt with belt tensioner
q   Two different belt tensioners are fitted: electrical belt tensioner in models with side airbags. Mechanical belt tensioner in models without side airbags.
q   To remove, first remove side panel trim → Side panel trim; Rep. gr.70.
q   Retaining lugs determine position of belt inertia reel.
q   Loosening hexagon head bolt -11- makes the belt tensioner safe and tightening it returns the belt tensioner to a functional condition (does not apply for electric belt tensioner).
q   The disposal of old components that have not been ignited will be carried out by the distribution centre or the importer
13 - Connector
q   Only with electric belt tensioners
14 - Cross-head bolts
q   1.5 Nm
15 - Belt guide
q   Secured with 2 cross-head bolts.
