–  Prise supplementary input socket -1- out of retainer -2-.
–  Prise retainer -2- from switch mounting -3- if necessary.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows- (qty. 6) (the bolts in the middle of vehicle are covered with caps).
–  Remove glove compartment -1-.
–  Disconnect connectors for glove compartment lighting.

–  Release rear of cover -1- from dash panel.
–  Remove bolts -2- and the two bolts -3- for the fuse holder.

–  Turn rotary part -1- of lighting switch to position 0.
–  Press rotary grip inwards -arrow A- then turn it to the right -arrow B-.
–  Pull switch out of dash panel -arrow C- and disconnect electrical connections.
–  Disconnect switch -2- for headlight range control and pull off connector.

–  Remove the 4 bolts -1-.
–  Unclip trim -2- upwards and remove from dash panel.

–  Remove bolts -2-.
–  Remove impact plate -1- (Cabriolet).

–  Remove air duct -1- over centre of dash panel.

–  Remove the three screws -1-.

–  Lift up left plenum chamber cover -1- in dash panel -arrow A-. This action releases the dash panel (front and rear edges are clamped securely)
–  Pull cover -1- towards middle of vehicle and out of retainers below the A-pillar -arrow B-.

–  Lift up right plenum chamber cover -1- in centre of dash panel -arrow A-. This action releases the dash panel (front and rear edges are clamped securely)
–  Pull cover -1- towards middle of vehicle and out of retainers below the A-pillar -arrow B-.

–  Disconnect trim -1-.
–  Remove bolts -2-.
–  Remove insert -3- for dash panel.
–  Disconnect multi-pin connector on rear of dash panel insert.
