Removing

Caution

Before starting work on electrical system: disconnect battery earth strap (GND) → Battery, starter, alternator, cruise control system; Rep. gr.27.

Note

Before disconnecting battery earth strap obtain security code for radio, if necessary.

–	Disconnect battery → Battery, starter, alternator, cruise control system; Rep. gr.27.

–	Insert flat blade screwdriver between handle trim -1- and handle and prise handle carefully off door trim.

–	Remove the two bolts behind the handle.

–	Remove three screws -arrows-.

–	Unclip door trim -1- at sides with aid of assembly pliers 3392.

–	Lift door trim upwards out of window slot seal.

–	Unclip cable guide -1- with a flat blade screwdriver -2-, pull out from retainer -3- in direction of -arrow- and unhook cable hook -4-.

–	Disconnect electrical connections.
