Removing air conditioner compressor upwards with refrigerant lines and hoses connected
Removing air conditioner compressor upwards with refrigerant lines and hoses connected
  Note
Battery earth strap must be disconnected during further procedure. Therefore, check whether a coded radio is installed. If necessary, obtain radio anti-theft code before disconnecting battery.
(not for diesel engine ALH)
–  Remove alternator. → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.27
–  Remove dipstick guide tube. → Rep. Gr.17
–  Unscrew and remove bolts for air conditioner compressor (drive threaded bushes back slightly first).
–  Pull air conditioner compressor with connected cables out of bracket.
   
–  Attach air conditioner compressor to lock carrier so that refrigerant lines and hoses are not under load.
