Check electrical power supply for high-pressure senderG65
Check electrical power supply for high-pressure sender -G65-

Connector assignment on high-pressure sender -G65-
Kontakt 1 - Earth
Kontakt 2 - Signal output (square-wave signal to radiator fan control unit -J293- and to engine control unit)
Kontakt 3 - Positive (terminal 15)
  Note
t  Air conditioner compressor is not switched on when plug -B- is pulled out.
t  High-pressure sender -A- is an electronic control unit that produces a square-wave signal with a duty cycle that changes as refrigerant circuit pressure changes.
–  Check electrical power supply and earth connection to high-pressure sender -G65- according to circuit diagram. → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
–  Check for short circuit between cables.
–  Additionally check cables for short circuit to battery positive or earth.
–  Check cable connection for discontinuity between high-pressure sender -G65- and control unit -J293- according to circuit diagram. → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations
If no fault is found in the cables:
–  Renew high-pressure sender -G65-.
Removing and installing
  Note
The high-pressure sender can be removed without extracting the refrigerant from the refrigerant circuit.
  M87-0012
Remove 3-pin connector and pressure switch -B- (5 Nm).
–  Renew O-ring -A- (10.8 mm; 1.8 mm).
