Remove the six bolts/screws - 1 - on left and right-hand sides of the top edge of the tailgate - 2 -.

Unclip sealing grommets - 1 - on left and right-hand sides of the tailgate - arrow -.

Open clips - 1 - on left and right-hand sides.

NOTE:  Replace damaged clips - 1 - when installing.

Take rear spoiler assembly of vehicle. To do this unhook lower guide tube - 2 - and upper guide tube - 3 - and pull apart on left and right-hand
sides and pull apart clip - 1 - when taking the rear spoiler assembly off.

Pull cable - 4 - out of left and right-hand sides of lower guide tube - 2 - when removing the rear spoiler assembly.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence of removal.

The following work steps must be performed in addition when doing this.
