Brake pedal depressor V.A.G 1869/2
Removing
The work sequence is only valid for the replacement of the brake caliper or for the following repairs of the brake caliper.

Remove wheel.

Install suction bottle bleeder hose on the brake caliper bleeder valve and then open bleeder valve.

Use Brake pedal depressor V.A.G 1869/2.

Close bleeder valve and remove suction bottle.

Remove brake hose.

Remove clip - 1 -.
-
Press brake lever - 2 - in direction of - arrow - and unhook parking brake cable - 3 -.

Remove securing bolts from brake caliper housing, to do this counterhold on guide pins.

Remove brake caliper from brake carrier.
-
Remove brake pads from brake caliper.
Installing

The piston is pushed back.
