Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC), Checking

Function test

Select measuring value "Test-ID 01: Catalytic converter monitoring" and check whether the specified values are being reached. Diagnostic mode

Continuously Monitored

End diagnosis and switch ignition off.

If specified values are exceeded:

Replace front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter.

Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM). Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data. See: Powertrain Management/Computers
