Steering Angle Sensor: Service and Repair

Steering angle sensor G85, removing and installing 

-

Removing airbag unit and steering wheel.

-

Turn wheels to straight ahead position.

-

Remove covering in footwell.

-

Remove bolts - 1-.

-

Remove height and reach adjustment handle - 5-.

-

Remove bolts - 2 - , - 3 - and - 4 -.

-

Remove lower steering column switch trim.

-

Remove upper steering column switch trim - 1.-

The steering angle sensor G85 and coil connector are installed together in a housing - 1 -.
