Removing
The work sequence is only valid for the replacement of the brake caliper or for the following repairs of the brake caliper.

Remove wheels.

Disconnect connector - 1 - on models with a brake pad wear indicator.

Install suction bottle bleeder hose on the brake caliper bleeder valve and then open bleeder valve.

Use brake pedal depressor V.A.G 1869/2.

Close bleeder valve and remove suction bottle.
-
Remove brake hose.
-
Remove both caps from brake caliper bearing bushings.
