To guide seal extractor, thread center bolt into crankshaft onto limit stop by hand.

Unscrew inner part of oil seal extractor 3203 nine turns (approx. 20 mm) out of outer part and lock with knurled screw.

Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor 3203, place it in position and exerting firm pressure screw it into oil seal as far as possible.

Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against crankshaft until oil seal is pulled out.

Gradual introduction of PTFE oil seal (identifying characteristics: no annular spring, sealing lip wider). The sealing lip of this oil ring must not be
oiled or lubricated. A plain encased seal of older construction (with annular spring) may be replaced with a PTFE oil seal, but not vice versa.
Sealing ring with annular spring

Fit guide sleeve T10053/1 onto crankshaft journal.

Oil sealing ring lip lightly and slide sealing ring onto guide sleeve T10053/1.
PTFE seal
-
Remove oil residue from crankshaft journal using clean cloth.

Fit guide sleeve T10053/1 free of oil onto crankshaft journal.

Slide dry seal onto guide sleeve T10053/1.
