Insert new exchange filter into lower section of fuel filter.

Insert new sealing ring - 1 - into groove of upper section of fuel filter - arrows -.

Place upper section of fuel filter with sealing ring on to lower section of fuel filter and install bolts approximately one turn.

Bolt upper section of fuel filter to lower section of fuel filter. 

-

Tighten bolts according to sequence indicated in the illustration. 

-

Tighten the bolts to 5 Nm.

The tightening sequence prevents upper section of fuel filter from canting and therefore damaging the sealing ring.
