Checking installation position of double clamp

Work sequence

Position double clamp approx. 5 mm away from marking "A" - arrow2 -.

NOTE:

-

Marking "A" - arrow2 - is valid for models with manual or automatic transmission.

-

Marking "S" - arrow1 - is not valid for engines in this repair manual.

Installation position of mounting

Work sequence

-

Install so that angled side on base of mounting - arrow - points forward.

Separating point on exhaust pipe

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Body saw, e.g. V.A.G 1523
