Tires, Removing

Tires, removing 

Tires which have been filled/sealed with tire sealant must be deflated before removing.

CAUTION:  
-

Prevent tire sealant from making contact with eyes and skin.

-

It is harmful to health, can cause eye irritation and allergies.

-

Wear protective gloves and goggles during assembly.

-

Place wheel on an flat surface.

-

Remove valve insert from tire valve.

-

Using a suitable drill bit or cutting bit, carefully drill a hole in the shoulder of the tire.

-

Hold tire over a container and let sealant flow out.

-

Remove tire from rim.

-

Clean rim e.g. using a moist cloth.

Disposing tire sealant 
Residual tire sealant or bottles with minimum shelf life date expired that are still filled must be disposed of.

Old tire sealant or remainder of it must not be mixed with other fluids and must be disposed of properly.

Installing new tires 
-

Make sure rim has been cleaned.

-

Insert a new tire valve.

-

Remove valve insert.

-

Inflate tire to approximately 3-4 bar, tire bead must slip audibly over rim hump when doing this.

-

Screw in valve insert.

-

Correct inflation pressure to specified pressure.

-

Balance wheel.
