Move selector shaft lever - 3 - to position "P" on transmission. Locking lever must engage in park lock wheel, both front wheels are blocked
(cannot be turned together in one direction).

Loosen bolt - 2 - on front ball socket - 1 - of selector lever cable.

Insert selector lever cable into transmission support bracket and press carefully onto selector shaft lever.

Note:   Do not bend selector shaft lever when doing this, otherwise the selector mechanism cannot be adjusted exactly.

Locking devices of selector lever cable must engage into support mounting.

Tighten bolt - 2 -.

Fit selector lever cable - 1 - into clip - arrow - on transmission.

Note:   Ensure selector lever cable is maintained at a distance of at least 5 mm from ATF cooler when routing.

Assemble exhaust system and install tunnel bridge
