Using a rivet (1Y0 871 996 A) secure cable eyelet -1- to upper hole -arrow- in frame
NOTE: Flat side of the cable eyelet must face frame
CAUTION: MAKE SURE UPPER HOLE IS USED, OTHERWISE LONG UPPER CABLE WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY

Pull cord -arrow- tied to elastic cable until eyelet is outside the headlining

Partially secure eyelet on elastic cable with screw, remove string, and finish tightening screw
CAUTION: DO NOT ALLOW ELASTIC CABLE TO RETRACT INTO THE HEADLINING

Repeat procedure on opposite side of the vehicle

Close and fully open convertible top to make certain new cables are functioning correctly
