Use new button, adjuster, pin and clip from repair kit (1YM 898 002)

-

Place and hold new adjuster with rubber washers in position in the latch bracket so the bottom groove on the adjuster aligns with latch bar in
release handle

NOTE:
-

Previously removed rubber washers -8- need to be reinstalled

-

Arrows in illustration show position of latch bracket. Rubber washers are inward of the bracket and adjuster -9- is in the middle

To install new button, hold it in previously noted position before disassembly and rearward of the latch bracket, then move button forward over
latch bracket and insert new pin

Raise release handle over new button

-

Press button and check function

-

Install new clip on pin

-
