Pry out rest of seal using a screwdriver -A-.

Installing 

Install in reverse order. When doing this note the following:
-

Moisten outer edges and sealing lip of oil seal with ATF.

Installation position:
Open side of oil seal faces transmission.

Guide inner sealing lip -A- of oil seal carefully over transmission stub shaft -B-. Sealing lip must not roll back.

Press oil seal in as far as possible by hand (arrows).

-

Drive oil seal in onto limit stop of press piece T10176. Do not tilt seal when doing this.

-

Install left side axle shaft.

Check ATF level and top off if necessary.

-

Install sound insulation.
