Removing

Remove lock cylinder housing. Refer to=> [ Lock Cylinder Housing ]. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Door/Removal

Remove door handle. Refer to => [ Door Handle ]. See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Door/Removal and Installation/Door
Handle

Remove subframe. Refer to => [ Door Lock, Convertible ].

Remove bolt - 1 - push mounting bracket in door toward rear and unhook retaining tab - 2 - from door opening.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Before installing mounting bracket, check or establish proper installation position of spring lever - 1 -.

Spring bracket - 1 - must be pressed into bearing bracket against spring pressure, and blocked in this position by movable locking mechanism -  2 -.
