Brake Pedal Assembly Overview

CAUTION!
The path of the brake pedal must not be shortened by extra floor mats. 

‹› Grease all bearing areas with grease (G 000 602 ) before assembling.

Mounting bracket

Self-locking hex nut, 20 Nm

Brake light switch (F) for vehicles up to 02.00

‹› Secure brake pedal at brake booster push rod before installing brake light switch => [ Hold ball head of push rod in front of mount

and press brake pedal toward brake booster so that the ball head engages audibly. ] See: Service and Repair/Brake Pedal to Brake Booster,
Disconnecting and Connecting.

‹› Check function of brake light

Brake light switch (F) for vehicles from 03.00

‹› Secure brake pedal at brake booster push rod before installing brake light switch => [ Hold ball head of push rod in front of mount
