Release the catches - arrows - and pull the return spring with the steering angle sensor from the steering column switch.

‹› The return spring with the steering angle sensor must be in the center position (wheels in the straight-ahead position) for removal and installation. 

‹› A new return ring is secured in the centered position with a transport protection.

Continuation for all vehicles

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. 

For vehicles with ESP, also note the following:

Install return spring with Steering Angle Sensor (G85) and engage. For a new component, remove transport protection.
