Removing

Remove the Generator (C) first. Refer to=> [ Generator ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Generator C/Generator.

Clamp the Generator (C) in a vise.

Remove the cap from the free-wheeling belt pulley.

‹› The threads on the generator shaft are a left-handed thread, therefore, rotate it clockwise to loosen and counter-clockwise to tighten.

Insert the (VAS 3400) into the pulley with ribbed belt pulley with free-running hub for the Generator (C) using and open-end wrench.
