‹› Always replace

‹› Do not loosen rear axle when removing if possible

Thread can be repaired using Heli-Coil(R) thread insert when thread of weld nut is damaged.

Repair thread in longitudinal member => [ Longitudinal Member Threads, Servicing ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Front Suspension.

Self-locking hex nut

‹› M12 x 1.5

‹› Tightening specification => [ Rear Axle ] See: Specifications/Rear Suspension/Rear Axle Component Tightening Specifications.

‹› Always replace

‹› Axle beam must be in horizontal position (non load-bearing condition) when tightening nut.

Hex bolt

‹› Always replace after removal

Mounting bracket for rear axle

‹› After installing, check path of rear axle, adjust if necessary

‹› Do not loosen rear axle when removing if possible

Hydraulic bonded rubber bushing

Distinguishing characteristic to bonded rubber bushing => [ (Item 27) Bonded rubber bushing ] : The hydraulic bonded rubber bushing has a bulge - 
arrow - pointing toward vehicle exterior.

If bushing leaks it must be replaced
