CAUTION!
Prior to working on the electrical system:

‹› Obtain the radio system anti-theft code.

‹› Switch off all electrical consumers.

‹› Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key.

‹› Disconnect the battery.

The radio systems are equipped with speaker systems meeting the device-specific requirements of each system and installed in the upper trims of the
A-pillars, plenum chamber covers, doors, and side trims.

‹› Familiarity with the function and operation is essential in the event of customer concerns. Refer to the Owner's Manual.

‹› Anti-theft coding is equipped with protection code number. For deactivating electronic anti-theft system, refer to => [ Anti-Theft Coding,

Activating ] See: Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/Anti-Theft Coding, Activating. 

‹› When performing Servicing or Fault Finding use Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B).

‹› After connecting the battery, check all the vehicle accessories, for example, the radio, the clock, the Comfort packages. Refer to the Owner's

Manual.
