Removal

-

Switch off the ignition.

-

Open the front doors.

-

Disconnect the battery ground cable.

CAUTION!
Make sure on one is in the vehicle when working on airbag system, especially if airbag system is connected to power source or battery is
reconnected.

Remove the glove compartment for better access to the harness connector. 

-

Carefully pry lever protector - 5 - for the front passenger airbag out of the instrument panel (it is pushed flush into the instrument panel).

-

Tilt protection - 5 - upward.

-

Unscrew screws - 9 -, remove airbag unit brackets -  3 -, and disconnect harness connector - 7 - from wiring harness - 8 -.

Installation

Connect electrical harness connector - 7 - to front passenger airbag wiring harness - 8 - (rear part of airbag unit - 1 -).

Install the airbag on bracket - 3 -.

Install lever protector - 5 -.
