‹› The maximum input of the USB memory device must not exceed 2.5 W (500 mA/5 V).

‹› Never insert metal objects into the USB connection baseplate. They may cause a short circuit and damage the unit.

‹› If the USB connection baseplate does not recognize the memory device after 15 seconds, remove the device and insert it again.

‹› Some MP3 players must be activated with a button to create the USB connection. Refer to the Operating Instructions.

‹› The permissible temperature range of USB sticks and MP3 players is limited and often lies between 0° C and 40° C.     For this reason, inform the

customer that the storage medium must not be left in the vehicle for extended periods.
