Select Coding procedure to re-code original instrument cluster to -3-

Canada (CDN).

Note:

Once coding is completed, verify odometer displays kilometers before

continuing with replacement procedure.

Now that the instrument cluster has been coded to kilometers:

Perform GFF procedure for replacement of instrument cluster.

Tip:

Test plan will adapt total driven distance and service interval reading automatically.

For all models except Passat and Touareg:

Complete the immobilizer adaptation procedure.

For Passat and Touareg Only:

^

Proceed directly to re-coding instrument cluster.

Re-coding

To code the instrument cluster back to mileage, repeat the above procedure:

Select Coding procedure to re-code new instrument cluster and change country version to -2- U.S.A.

Once coding is complete:

^

Verify odometer displays in miles.
