Rear Reading Lamp

Interior Lamps and Switches

‹› When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim panels), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool (plastic

sedge, screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Rear Reading Lamp

‹› Removing and installing the Left Rear Reading Lamp ( W11) and removing and installing the Right Rear Reading Lamp (W12) are identical.

CAUTION!
‹› Turn off the ignition and all electrical components.

‹› Remove the key.

‹› When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying

tool ( (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

-

Insert the (VAS 3409) or a small screwdriver behind the lens and pry out the lamp

-

Disconnect electrical connector.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

-

Make sure the rear reading lamp works correctly.
