Once wire is removed from harness connector, fold wire back onto the wiring harness and tape (textile tape). This wire will no longer be used.

Access wire harness Part No. 1Y0 970 000.

Connect Terminal A into cavity T18a/17 of the J31 wiper/washer intermittent relay harness connector and assemble harness connector in reverse
order of disassembly.

Route new wire harness Part No. 1Y0 970 000 along existing wiring harness toward left lower A-pillar and tape into place (textile tape).
