Rear Section Assembly Overview, Convertible

‹› Overview describes removal and installation of rear part for vehicles through June of 2005. Removal and installation applies to vehicles from July

2005, except slight changes.

‹› Rear fenders and rear bumper cover can only be removed together from vehicle as so-called rear part.

‹› It is necessary that tightening sequence of bolts - 3 - is observed to ensure surface alignment and joint.

‹› Rear part must be installed free of stress.

Rear Part

‹› Removing:

-

Remove wheel housing liners. Refer to=> [ Rear Wheel Housing Liner ] See: Fender/Front Fender/Front Fender Liner/Service and Repair.

Remove taillight cluster.

Remove fuel flap unit. Refer to => [ Tank Door Unit ] See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Fuel Door/Service and Repair.

Remove bolts - 2 -, - 7 - and -  8 -.

Remove nuts - 9 -.
