Whenever a New Beetle up to and including VIN 3VWB21C91M430497 is brought in for any service or repair, check front hood emblem for peeling
chrome.

If chrome on front hood emblem shows any signs of peeling, install new emblem, Part No. 1C0 853 601 WM7.
