Center Air Outlets, No Adjustment of Air Flow
No air flow adjustment at center air outlet(s).

Technical Background
May be caused by a disengaged connecting arm at the air flow adjustment flap.

No production change required.
Service
Prior to replacing center air outlet console -A- for this condition:

Obtain radio code, remove radio (see Radio, Telephone, Navigation Trip computer in Repair Manual.

Inspect air flow adjustment flap socket(s) and connecting arm(s) for damage.
If air flow adjustment flap socket(s) and connecting arm(s) are not damaged:

Reinstall (snap) connecting arm into socket for adjustment flap.

Ensure that ALL securing tie straps, felt, and foam pads are properly placed to eliminate any rattles.

Carefully reinstall radio, making sure that radio and harness do not catch on connecting arm(s) when sliding radio into opening (code radio).

Ensure that both center air outlets operate correctly.

Whenever a radio must be removed for any repair. Always make sure that radio and harness do not catch on connecting arm(s) when sliding
radio into opening.
