Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

Wiper motor, installing in frame

Run motor to park position, connect harness connector and operate wiper switch briefly.

Disconnect harness connector again and tighten M6 motor securing bolts.
Tightening torque: 8 Nm (71 in. lb)

Install crank and align so rods are in line, see illustration.

Tighten M8 hex nut and press rods onto crank again.
Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
