Removing gas strut

–	Support rear lid.

–	Remove securing clip -1-.

–	Lift up securing clip -2- using screwdriver and pull gas strut off ball head pin.

Note

If gas strut is to be reused, retaining clip -2- must not be taken out of ball socket completely, otherwise retaining clip will be damaged.

3 -	Bearing bracket

4 -	Hexagon head bolt 7 Nm

5 -	Sealing washer

6 -	Ball head pin, 20 Nm
