Installing > < Removing and installing electrical window regulator

Passat (B3)

–  Unscrew door window pane from window regulator.
–  Push window pane upwards and secure in position (e.g. with adhesive tape).
–  Disconnect motor connector for window regulator.
–  Unscrew window regulator.
–  Raise window regulator until retaining lugs disengage and take out window regulator downwards.
