Renewing backrest frame

Only sport seat backrest is supplied as replacement part. If backrest frame for normal seat has to be renewed, perform the following measures:

–	Separate support bar -1-. Use an angle grinder -V.A.G 1422/A- to separate.

–	Separating points -arrows- must be cleaned of swarf and protected against corrosion (anti-corrosion primer -ALN 002 003 04-).

Backrest frame is equipped for replacement purposes with backrest adjustment -1- on both sides.

–	Lever off superfluous backrest adjustment -1- with a screwdriver.
