Installing > < Removing and installing cover and padding for front seat part with height adjustment

Removing
–  Remove front seat → Chapter.
–  Separate seat frame and backrest frame → Chapter.
   
–  Release felt trim -2- in area of backrest securing pins.
–  Unhook left and right tensioning wire -1-.
  Note
When hooking in, tensioning wire -1- must be pulled slightly.

–  Unhook clip -1- and bend out fixing points -2- on left and right.

–  Release clamping strip -1- from seat base.

–  Fold cover up until padding wires -1- become visible.
–  Detach padding wires -1- with awl -V.A.G 1636- and pull off cover.
–  Remove padding from seat frame and separate seat heating connector as necessary.
