Removing and installing engine

Renewing engine carrier rubber mounting

‒ Fit engine support bracket 10-222A with legs 10-222A/1.
‒ Locate support bracket in lifting eye on left of cylinder head and take-up weight of engine.
‒ Remove engine carrier.



‒ → Lever out distance bracket -2- from rubber mounting. ‒ Press out rubber mounting -1-. ‒ Observe rubber mounting -1- installation position. ‒ Fit new rubber mounting. ‒ Press engine carrier distance bracket into rubber mounting. ‒ Install engine carrier -4- and tighten securing bolts -3- to 80 Nm.
