◆ Hand multimeter V.A.G 1526 or multimeter V.A.G 1715

◆ Adapter set V.A.G 1594

◆ Current flow diagram
Test prerequisites:
Test sequence
-
‒ Switch off ignition.
-
‒ Connect test box =>Page 23-34
.
-
‒ Bridge sockets 42 + 46.
-
‒ Select 20 V measuring range.
-
‒ Connect hand multimeter V.A.G 1526 between following test box sockets:
45 + 1
68 + 1
23 + 1
-
‒ Specification:
approx. battery voltage
If the specification is not attained:
-
‒ Check current supply relay terminal 30 (J317), check wiring connection according to current flow diagram for open/short circuit and transfer resistance at contacts.
If no fault can be found:
-
‒ Replace Diesel direct injection system control unit.
