Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

Light Switch -E1-, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  Fog Light Switch -£23- (where applicable) and Light Switch Light -L9- are integrated into Light Switch -E1- and cannot be serviced or
removed separately. Should malfunctions occur, replace entire light switch.

Removing

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Turn rotary switch to "0" position.

-

Push switch inwards -arrow 1- and turn slightly to right -arrow 2-

Maintain switch position and pull from opening -arrow 3-

-

Disconnect electrical connection.

Installing

-

Connect electrical connection to switch.

-

Hold switch housing firmly, push rotary switch inwards -arrow 1- and turn slightly to right -arrow 2-

-

Maintain switch position and insert into instrument panel opening -3-.

-

Return rotary switch to "0" position to engage.
