ATF, Topping Off

ATF, topping off, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (FWD)

-

Guide VAG 1924 in through an opening -arrow- in the deflector cap, taking care not to push the deflector cap upward out of position.

-

Fill with ATF using VAG 1924 -arrow- until ATF comes out of inspection hole.

Install new O-ring on ATF inspection plug and tighten to 80 Nm.

Switch off engine.

Conditions for performing check

All electrical consumers must be switched off

^

Transmission is not in emergency running mode, ATF temperature is not above approximately 30°C

^

Vehicle level

^

Selector lever at "P" 

The oil drain plug and seal must be replaced.

Switch off engine.
