Installation position of fuel delivery unit flange

Marking on flange -1- must align with marking on fuel tank -2-.

NOTE:  After installing Fuel Pump (FP) flange, check whether supply, return and ventilation lines are still clipped in at fuel tank.

Checking change-over valve

Pin in rest position: Closed
Pin pressed in direction of arrow: Open

NOTE:  Before installing change-over valve, unscrew cover from fuel tank.

Checking pressure retention valve

The pressure retaining valve is opened in both flow directions - arrow 1 - on the gravity valve side. It is only opened in one flow direction - arrow 2. on
the side of the change-over valve.
