Moisten O-ring with ATF and insert 

34. Pressure control valve 2 -N216-

To replace: Remove and install oil pan and remove guide plate for parking lock mechanism

^

When installing, do not tighten bolts for guide plate (23 Nm) with selector lever in "P" 

36. Bolt, 6 Nm 
37. Magnet

^

4 magnets in depressions in oil pan

^

Always clean when oil pan is removed

^

Ensure correctly seated in oil pan 

38. Oil seal

^

Always replace 

39. ATF inspection plug

VAG 1331 Torque wrench

Removing

Observe general repair instructions.

Replace soiled or defective valve body.
