Connect connector - arrow - to Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) G38.
^
Press on securing clamp - arrow - of connector for wiring harness until retaining tab engages.
^
Coat seal on suction collar of oil strainer with ATF.
^
Carefully press suction collar of oil strainer into the opening at valve body up to stop.
^
Bolt oil strainer on and tighten bolts - arrows -.
^
Insert oil pan with a new gasket.
^
Tighten oil pan bolts in diagonal sequence and in stages.
^
Tighten new drain plug.
^
Add ATF, check ATF level and top off.

CAUTION: Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in the transmission.

Valve body can also be removed with transmission removed.
^
Insert O-rings with ATF. Other lubricants cause malfunctions of the hydraulic transmission controls.
^
Always replace a soiled or faulty valve body.
^
Do not use fluffy cloths!
^
After re-installing oil pan, check ATF level and top off
