Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair
01E Manual Transmission

Slave cylinder, removing and installing 

Removing 

-

Remove sound insulation below transmission.

Vehicles with 6-cyl. Diesel engine 

-

Remove cover from engine.

-

Remove heat shield from over turbocharger (arrows).

-

Remove exhaust pipe securing nuts (arrows) at turbocharger manifold.

-

Remove exhaust system bracket -1- (arrows).

-

Disconnect exhaust system at double clamp -2-.

-

Remove front exhaust system with catalyst.

Vehicles with 8-cyl. injection engine 

-

Remove front left exhaust pipe.
